FC SEOUL brought Kim Jin-kyu(22), the national team defender, in to the team.
The purpose of increasing the defence power, FC SEOUL decided to welcome Kim Jin-kyu who is participating in the 2007 Asian Cup as a Center back.
By Kim jin-kyu is joining the team, FC SEOUL is possible to make a stable defence line. And it is expected to force the team's strategy.
Kim Jin-kyu had joined the Chunnam at 2003. And made 4 goals 1 assists at 35 games until this time in K-league. He also appeared in the national team and played about 40 games.
Kim Jin-kyu also has a experience in the J-league for two years as a defender in the Jubilo Iwata team.
He has a lot of experience in the big tournaments like 2004 Asian Cup, 2005 U-20 World Cup, 2006 FIFA World Cup, 2007 Asian Cup, 2008 Beijing olympic team. He is estimated as a best defender in Korea.
Kim Jin-kyu is expected to make a good harmony with Kim Chi-gon. Kim Chi-gon joined the National team in these days with Kim Jin-kyu. Two players are all participating the 2007 Asian Cup as a key defender in the team.
FC SEOUL decided to trade defender Kwak Tae-hwi to Chunnam.
Kim Jin-yju will join the team right after the 2007 Asian Cup.
