| 12th Aug 2006 would be remembered for a long time by football fans. Two archrivals, FC Seoul and Suwon Samsung drove the 38,533 spectators crazy for 90 minutes continuously. For the first half, the match seemed to be leaded by Seoul but after break the team smiled first was Suwon. On 9th minute of the second half Suwon’s Gwanwoo Lee opened the fire of long-lasting battle and it finally finished with the score of 2-2. So, according to the rule moved to penalty kick. Though goal keeper Byeongji Kim did his best Seoul was not lucky enough to take the team to the next round. With the score of 5-6 Seoul’s another championship dream was shattered. |
