Amid a cheerful mood in training session taken place at GS Champions park on Wednesday April 23, Seoul warriors made a firm resolution of displaying a good football in an upcoming Saturday meeting with Gyeongnam working with sweat. All of the team squad, including the likes of Park Chu-young, Dejan and Kim Byung-ji, took part in the daily training, and raised expectations to the matches remaining in the on-going season showing light physical movements.
A defender Kim Chi-gon, who has been forming a perfect partnership with Kim Jin-kyu in the central defense, revealed an unusual resolution, “I am partnering with Jin-kyu in the defense. I want to make every game a clean sheet.” A new boy Lee Jong-min also said, “It has been short since being a part of the team and so Seoul fans will feel strange to me. Personally, I think the best way to be get closer to fans is to give everything of myself every game. I will somehow giving something back to fans by playing the best to my ability.”
The boss Senol Gunes pressed the players to make a push to do a better job. In particular, the Turkish manager demanded intensive concentration shouting at the players during the shooting practice. Having displayed an attacking football on three goals with late goals in the recent league match over Jeju on the last Sunday, Seoul is highly expected that they will present fans with more goals through hard shooting practice.
With a big smile on their face, the players said hello to fans winding up some one and half an hour training. Seoul are resolute to have an edge in the title race with another victory in the Saturday’s away match over Gyeongnam, which is slated to be held in Haman, North Gyeongsang province.
